Meet the Founder
My name is Jeanette Veneziano and I currently live with my family in White Plains, New York. Two of my passions in life are helping others and organizing. I became interested in becoming a professional organizer after reading Marie Kondo’s books, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and Spark Joy. I have always felt the satisfaction and positive impacts of being organized in my own life, which Marie Kondo describes in her books.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in General and Special Education and received a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from Hunter College in New York City. I have worked as a Special Education teacher for more than 15 years in Westchester, New York. I have found there are many similarities between being a teacher and professional organizer such as gathering background information, conducting needs assessments, creating a plan of action, using modeling as a learning tool, and understanding different learning styles.
In addition to organizing my own home, I spend most of my time with my family – whether it’s on the lake, hitting the slopes, or taking a vacation to a new destination. I love to read and enjoy physical activities such as tennis, golf, walking, and running. I try to incorporate meditation into my daily routine as often as possible.
Leading a healthy lifestyle and staying organized brings me happiness in my home and career. Streamline Organizing will do the same for you!
